Synopsis
  • Many years ago on Krypton, Jor-El and H'El were finishing the construction of the first manned spaceship in several hundreds of years. H'El was working on nighttime, even when Jor-El advised him to get some rest for the launch tomorrow. A large crowd had gathered in the launch site to give Jor-El and H'El their support. Lara gives H'El the crest of the House of El as way to show her blessing. In the present, at the Fortress of Solitude, H'El and Supergirl finish preparations of their ship. Kara is still unsure about H'El's plans, but she nevertheless promises to help him save Krypton. Meanwhile, Superman and the Justice League continue their attack on the Fortress. As the heroes make their way through the Fortress, Cyborg calculates the quickest way to find H'El. Also, Superboy has regained use of his TK powers thanks to Superman's Kryptonian armor, although Superman suggest him not to overexert himself. Kara and H'El have finished the star chamber. Despite his intentions, H'El feels sorry for the sacrifice the humans will have to make in the name of Krypton's rebirth. Kara believes that perhaps they should explains their motives to humanity, but in that moment Superman arrives. Superman attacks H'El, but Supergirl tries to stop him. Suddenly, Superboy attacks Supergirl. In that moment, the Justice League is teleported to the outside. Batman realizes that instead of hurling them out of the Fortress, H'El moved the Fortress someplace else. As H'El and Supergirl recover, the star chamber activates, shooting a large golden beam into the sky. Dr. Veritas and Lex Luthor watch the event from afar. Meanwhile, in the Himalayan mountains, the herald awakens its master, the Oracle. At space, a large totem floats in front of an alien spaceship. This totem, the Oracle itself, awakens and unwittingly destroys the ship. Now, it prepares to descend upon Earth and witness the end of a world. To be continued...
