- MGM released Cartoon Moviestars VHS tapes in the mid-1980s. These were new transfers in the 1980s to replace the AAP prints for better quality of the cartoons. Of course, they only had the 16mm prints at the time so these restorations were not that great. These VHS tapes had blue borders on the opening and closing rings on the cartoons. These 1980s prints were later obliterated by 1995 Turner dubbed versions, with altered end cards and much better color corrections. Although, the 4 Inki cartoons still exist in these prints as well as a few others on the tapes.
