The Dollar is divided into 100 cents (centavos, sous, fun, aurar - singular eyrir). The symbol for the dollar is $ and for the cent is ¢ The North American Dollar is governed by the League of North American States. Banknotes and coins are produced by the national governments according to a common pattern. All must use the five official languages, but give their national languages priority. Thus, banknotes produced in, for example, Misuri, will give Japanese priority, while those produced in Arkansas will give French priority.
