Rand Miller is one of the two creators of Cyan Worlds along with his brother Robyn Miller. He is now CEO. Together with Robyn, he created not only Myst and Riven, but also earlier games Cosmic Osmo and The Manhole. In the video games, Rand Miller originated the roles of Achenar and Atrus. Although Achenar has been recast, he continues to play Atrus (though he has expressed that he doesn't like it; at least during the making of Riven, Exile, and Revelation, that is. In the first Myst game, he states that he felt it was fun playing Achenar and Atrus's roles alongside his brother Robyn). In addition, he has worked with David Wingrove to write the novel series.
