Carousel Theatre is a professional theatre dedicated to young audiences located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Founded in 1974, the company stages a full season of theatre for youth and family audiences. Each year, the company stages a Literary Classics Season at the Waterfront Theatre, a popular Teen Shakespeare Program outdoors at Performance Works (both venues are located on Granville Island) and an Elementary School & Community Touring Program. Carousel Theatre also runs a theatre school for young people ages 3-17 years.

In 2007, the company received a Jessie Award for Outstanding Production for its acclaimed production of The Odyssey, by Canadian playwright John Murrell, and an Ovation Award for Outstanding Musical for its popular production of Seussical. Carousel Theatre's mission is to inspire, enlighten and entertain young people and families with accessible theatrical experiences that develop audiences and artists.
