The Order of the Blue Lotus (Indralan: 藍蓮會, Lánliánhuì) was a paramilitary organization and secret police with the purpose of enforcing the will of the Xin Emperor and the Mingzhi Dynasty, and of safeguarding the achievements of the Blue Lotus Rebellion. The Order, formed of fanatically loyal Cheng monks, was headed by Venerable Cao Guo, the Cheng Patriarch of Indrala, throughout its existence. The Order of the Blue Lotus was a reformation of the older Blue Lotus Society, a Cheng Socialist secret society, founded in 3000.
