Imaginatively named, Industrial Town was formed as a compromise to place some distance between the factories and industries of San Andreas and its residents in the Oldtown area. While the original plan called for little or no settlement or governance of the Industrial part of San Andreas, the facts of life for many of those who came to work in the area quickly necessitated both. While the Oldtown area is known for its crime rate the Industrial area is known for its poverty. Originally settled by those who are too poor to afford fares between work and living in the antiquated tenemants of Oldtown, the inhabitants of this area survive in tiny apartments under the constant pollution of the industrial world run rampant.

| - Imaginatively named, Industrial Town was formed as a compromise to place some distance between the factories and industries of San Andreas and its residents in the Oldtown area. Ironically, it was not these desperate settlers who incorporated Industrial Town, but the owners and capitalists who sensed a rising wave of discontent and arranged for the city to be established before the population became restive enough to take significant action on their own. As a consequence of this forethought, Industrial Town continues to happily serve its capitalist masters instead of its crushed and drained populace. A new push has recently started among the limited population that does live in the area to give it a new name. The streets of Industrial Town are rife with crime, that much is known. Characters with sufficient ranks in streetwise have an idea what's really going on on the San Andreas Streets. Any building not specifically labelled can safely be assumed to be industrial space, warehouses, or warehouses converted to factory space of some sort.
