William H. Keith, Jr. was a major writer/designer for the Twilight: 2000 system. Keith was literally “present at the creation;” he was in the rental van with fellow designers Chadwick and Wiseman when the initial concepts for the game system were hammered out. Keith started as out as an illustrator, producing hundreds of classic and iconic images for the Traveller role-playing game system. He is an award-winning novelist, with more than sixty books published or on the way (and ranging from science fiction to action-adventure to military techno-thrillers). But in the years in between, he was a game designer. His roleplaying game Behind Enemy Lines won the 1982 H.G. Wells Award for Best Role-Playing Game.
