  • They are commonly killed as part of an assigned Slayer task of "Trolls". They drop various seeds and warhammers. Trolls regenerate health quickly but are still vulnerable to poisons; they usually use crushing weapons. They don't hit very frequently but they make up for it by having relatively high Strength. Bringing a Fire staff is a good idea to alchemise their frequent low-level armour and weapon drops.
  • These trolls wear a low form of armor and throw stones from out of the earth at enemies with one hand. They can also switch to Melee mode, and use their fists. Mountains trolls also may grab and eat a friendly , in order to gain health.
  • The mountain troll (Troglodytarum alpinum) is a breed of troll. They are the largest, weighing over a tonne, and the most vicious kind of their species. They are often depicted as bald and pale-grey. They sometimes use Graphorns as mounts, which results in scars due to the Graphorns not liking it.
  • Hammer: Splintering Blow - For 10 seconds the Troll's hammer blows disable all buildings that he attacks. Club: Sweeping Strikes - For 10 seconds the Troll's club swings hit a 30% greater area. Sword: Vicious Swipes - For 10 seconds the Troll's sword swipes knock down, in addition to units, heroes and trolls.
  • Mountain trolls live in and around Trollheim. There are several troll variants, all with the same drops and life points. There are also two named trolls called Twig and Berry on the bottom floor of Troll Stronghold, and troll spectators, which feature in the Troll Stronghold quest.
  • The Mountain Troll is the first and a variation of Troll in Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, the Mountain Troll the boss of Troll Marsh, appearing on level 24 The Mountain Troll.
  • A mountain troll is a race of troll living in mountains
  • Mountain Trolls inhabit areas of the Southern Shiverpeaks and usually travel in groups.
  • The race of mountain trolls are huge, muscular and dull. They are dim-witted, and are less creative and more reclusive and aggressive than ogres. It is unknown if they have any sort of organised religion, like the ogres, whether they just follow their noses, or whether the concept of the gods is simply beyond their level of comprehension. They have no magics, and the most advanced technology they have is very poor and outdated on the standards of other races. Their weaponry seems to include mostly simple clubs, an example of how they are lacking technologically.
