Despite this, there is no real contact with him until The Inside Story. Sabrina manages to get a hold of him while Mirror is battling Merlin. When Mirror discovers this, he demands to know where the child is, and it is revealed that Basil Jr. thinks Mirror is his "daddy." Sabrina is then forced to give him up in order to save the lives of everyone else but has the hope of later rescuing him. Eventually, Basil Jr. is reunited with his family. As of The Inside Story, he is approximately a year and a half old. At first in book 9, he is only calm around
