- "Bloodletting" is the second episode of the second season of AMC's The Walking Dead. It is the eighth episode of the series overall. It premiered on October 23, 2011 at 9/8c on AMC. It was written by Glen Mazzara and directed by Ernest Dickerson.
- In 2376, Abarca, a Qomar disdainful of the "primitive" technology of the USS Voyager, asked The Doctor whether his program included bloodletting. The Doctor replied that it didn't, but that he'd be "happy to add it to [his] repertoire." (VOY: "Virtuoso") Kelis' people, a Bronze Age civilization, practiced bloodletting, which they believe released fever. (VOY: "Muse")
- Bloodletting is the eleventh studio album by American thrash metal band Overkill. The album was released on October 24, 2000.
- Bloodletting is a 1st level Barbarian encounter power. Its primary use is to finish off a wounded foe, and it is better at that job than any other 1st level barbarian encounter power there is. Bloodletting Barbarian Attack 1 Encounter (Special) ✦ Target: One creature Attack: Strength vs AC Hit: 2[W] + Strength modifier damage. If the target is bloodied, the attack deals extra damage equal to your Constitution modifier.
