Motorola Mobility, or just Motorola is a mobile device manufacturer former owned by Google. It was bought for 12.5 billion dollars in 2011 by Google, but is now a subsidiary of the Chinese multinational computer technology company Lenovo. Motorola designs and manufactures phones, tablet, modems, and a few other products. They have been most successful in the area of smartphones, and have produced several of the top Android smartphones. Among their most popular phones are their Droid lineup. They worked with Verizon to create the Droid Razr brand, which has been very successful. Motorola has also recently released their new Moto X smartphone. It is the first smartphone to be entirely created under Google's ownership.
