While still considered an amature series that is done as a hobby, the series has developed some degree of popularity on Youtube and on Facebook. The series relies very heavily on its brand of black humour, satire and parody of films that contain questionable elements, such as inconsistencies and plot holes. The show infrequently features John’s friend ‘Professor Bruce’ as a time traveller who gives a second opinion on his reviews, which often agree with those of Johns.
