The Demon Dog puppets were originally created by Joel Hodgson for a live show called "Spookfest '87", and they were later used in a host segment of Invaders from the Deep, and a clip of Demon Dogs attacking Joel can be seen in the KTMA opening sequence and the opening sequence to season 1. During Episode K19, Hangar 18, Joel announced on-air that the thousandth person to join the Info Club would receive a Demon Dog as a prize. The Demon Dog puppets were repainted versions of a Masters of the Universe toy called Battle Bones.[1]
