In 2018, several children, who were homeless vagrants from various parts of the world, had been abducted by local gangs with ties to Desperado and World Marshal for the latter's Sears Program, and presumably to harvest the other organs besides their brains. Although the majority of them had been converted to cyborgs via brain surgery, 11 of the children from the second batch, including the Guyanese child named George, had not been harvested by the time the PMSC Maverick Security Consulting, Inc. arrived to investigate their lab in Guadalajara, Mexico. • In 2018, several children, who were homeless vagrants from various parts of the world, had been abducted by local gangs with ties to Desperado and World Marshal for the latter's Sears Program, and presumably to harvest the other organs besides their brains. George initially planned to have the other unharvested children escape with him, although because he neither spoke the same language as them nor could he understand their language, he was ultimately the only one able to escape. The head scientist of the lab had been ordered by Sundowner and Steven Armstrong to dispose of any unharvested inventory due to the rush in trying to get rid of evidence of the lab. As such, when Raiden arrived at the children's holding cell, the scientist proceeded to gas them with high concentrations of chloroform, while also holding George hostage in an attempt to force Raiden to not save the children. However, Raiden managed to save both the children and George, killing the scientist in the process, by breaking the glass and putting George in the cryopreserver, respectively. They were later placed in the care of the German cyberneticist, Dr. Wilhelm Voigt.
