The warlord obtained the Omega Strain from the CDP's Yushchenko, and plotted to sell it again to North Korean agent Sok-Ju Yang through Samaev. Agent Lian Xing disrupted the arms deal, killing Samaev, Yang and Zayed al Dhahiri while investigating Saydahmat; she was successful in planting a poison that would kill him. His smuggling operations temporarily ended after his death while the surviving followers searched for a replacement.
