The Cooper Spur Ski Area is located on the northeast side of Mount Hood, Oregon. The resort has one double lift chair serving ten runs, and a vertical drop of . The uphill capacity of the lift is 1200 skiers per hour, and the summit rises to 4350 ft (1326 m). The resort encompasses 50 acres (0.2 km²) of terrain, and receives an average of 100 in (2.5 m) of snow per year. Cooper Spur is known as the best place on Mount Hood to take a young family to learn to ski and snowboard, with numerous instructors all over the ski hill and the ability to see your kids anywhere on the hill from the lodge.
