- Karl Urban is a New Zealand actor who plays Vaako in The Chronicles of Riddick. Urban reprised that role in the next installment of the Riddick series, Riddick. Since Riddick ended with Vaako going to Underverse, Karl Urban should be appearing in that movie as well. Other roles include Eomer in The Lord of the Rings series, Russian assassin Kirill in The Bourne Supremacy, and John "Reaper" Grimm in the movie Doom, based on the computer game.

After the battle for Helm's Deep he also rode to Minas Tirith to help in the defense of the city.
