Daniel "Danny Doo" Dusen was a pitcher who specialized in the curveball for the New Jersey Titans. Dusen went 20-and-6 in 1956, losing out in the inaugural Cy Young Award voting to Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Don Newcombe. Going into the 1957 season, he had won 196 games.
