  • A truly devastating device once published as having been developed by the Neo-Sapian Xenobius, the GRAF Shield was in fact the brainchild of, and developed by Professor Algernon. The GRAF shield, or Gravitational Focus shield, is a series of domed devices that work in concert to generate an intense gravity field along a projected path. Any object within that path is crushed under its own gravity. It should be noted that ships that use a Cloaking Device are unaffected by the gravitational field due because the ships use gravity to bend light rays around themselves. The gravity field will simply envelop the ship with no effect.
