Synopsis
| - Two businessmen are hijacked while riding a bus through Gila Gap. One of the men is shot to death. The other contacts the sheriff, but the lawmen will not take action against Scar Jameson, the bandit. The businessman, Jim Todd opens his own newspaper office in Gila Gap to expose Jameson's gang. Jameson tries to silence Todd, but he is interrupted by the Vigilante. Vigilante helps Todd get proof against Jameson, which then allows U.S. Marshals to arrest him.
- After their discharge from the army, Johnny Williams and Fred Forest head to Africa to trap wild animals. While capturing a lion, the men are ambushed by a charging rhino. Congo Bill helps the men evade the rhino, then offers to help them capture some pygmy hippos. During their task, Congo Bill is entangled in a native snare. The hippo charges him, but he rides on its back, driving it into the cage.
- Inventor Russ Bright has created powerful wings that allow a man to fly. Investors balk at his invention, but prison convicts use the idea to escape. Zatara tracks down the crooks, using magic to transform them into butterflies. He recaptures them using a butterfly net. Bright's invention proves practical, and he is awarded a contract.
- Ruthless business tycoon Jasper Rasper decides to sabotage Christmas. He visits Santa Claus and feeds him candy which causes him to grow too fat to fit down a chimney. Superman helps Santa by putting him through a rigorous exercise regimen. Santa sheds the weight just before Christmas Eve, but then finds his reindeer poisoned by Rasper. Superman agrees to power Santa's sled and save Christmas. During the trip, Superman rescues Jasper from his crashed helicopter. Rasper is grateful and apologizes to Santa. He changes his ways and rewards his employees with Christmas gifts.
