The Seven Fangs were formed anjd lead by the Bounty Hunter known as Cipher, a former Jedi Padawan that went renegade and chose to live the life of a Bounty Hunter instead. Cipher gathered six other expert Bounty Hunters for a special job which he referred to as the Ultimate Hunt. In fact Cipher's big job turned out to be hunting down the Dark Lord of the Sith known as Darth Sidious. Having heard rumors of the enigmatic Sith that was supposedly the mastermind behind the Clone Wars. Given that It was not even known at the time whether said Sith existed, and the current state of events, Cipher believed that identifying and capturing Sidious would be a feat that would put the Bounty Hunter responsible for it down in history. In searching for leads on the identity of Darth Sidious the Seven Fangs ran afoul of the Galactic Republic, the Jedi Order, the Confederacy of Independent Systems and others beyond. Despite this the Seven Fangs did manage to successfully identify Darth Sidious as Chancellor Palpatine. However despite their best efforts the Bounty Hunters were incapable of defeating the Sith, and showing his true identity to the galaxy. The Seven Fangs disbanded after four of their number died during the job, including Cipher himself who was slain personally by Palpatine.
