Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is a Scottish football team based in Dunfermline, Fife, commonly known as just Dunfermline. Founded in 1885, the club currently play in the Scottish League One, after being relegated from the Scottish Football League First Division in the 2012–2013 season. Dunfermline play at East End Park, are nicknamed The Pars and are currently managed by Jim Jefferies, who was appointed in March 2012, taking over from Jim McIntyre. On 11 April 2013, Dunfermline Athletic Football Club applied for and were granted full administration at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
