| - Anakin Skywalker was born on an unknown planet to Shmi Skywalker, a slave, and no father. He was born through the force, becoming its physical embodiment due to an experiment by the Sith Lord Darth Plagueis. At the age of three, he and his mother moved to Tatooine, and became the slaves of Gardulla the Hutt. Not much is known about Anakin’s early years under Gardulla, just that he spent much of his time flying, learning early on the intricacies of flight and becoming an adept pilot. Years after he came to Tatooine, Gardulla lost Anakin and his mother to Watto, and Anakin was sent to work in Watto’s Junk Shop. Anakin spent his time in Watto’s shop wisely, becoming extremely well-versed in Huttese, and starting to show his mechanical prowess. By the age of nine, he had built various small droids; as well as his crowning achievement C-3PO, to help ease his mother’s workload. This was Anakin’s first sign of loyalty, how he used his talents to help his mother, as she held a very special place in his heart. Anakin spent much of his early years helping others, nursing an injured Tusken back to health, and scaring off a herd of Bantha's to save a group of hunters by the age of 5. Anakin had his first interaction with the Dark Side a year before his discovery, after accessing a war droid's holoprojector, he accessed a particularly gruesome hologram that consisted of screams and the word “Sith.” Anakin told a Republic Fighter Pilot, who then regaled him with tales of the Sith Order of around 4,000 years ago, believing that one had survived to advance the Order.
