Chomps Jr. is one of several aquatic enemies in Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land. Smaller and faster than the larger Chomps, Chomps Jr. swims around more aimlessly than its counterpart. This makes it a bit more dangerous than Chomps, but unlike Chomps, it tends to be more of a loner and doesn't always appear in 'packs.' This enemy can be defeated by Enguarde the Swordfish stabbing them. Chomps Jr. was going to appear in Donkey Kong Racing until the game became cancelled as they were seen in underwater races.
