  • iConcerts is the first and only 360° concert platform dedicated solely to live music. The unique cross-platform channel brings viewers an innovative music experience via HDTV, VOD, web, connected TV, smartphone and tablets. Operated by Swiss-based Transmedia Communications SA, iConcerts is a pioneering cross-media entertainment channel dedicated to live music that was launched on June 21st, 2006. It features over 1400 live music performances of all popular artists and genres - the largest digital on-demand concept library in the world. Distributed in 85 countries iConcerts currently has more than 260 million viewers worldwide. iConcerts is particularly strong in Classic Rock (Santana, Deep Purple, Queen, ZZ Top, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney) and Pop/Rock (Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Muse, Amy Winehouse, Ben Harper), but the whole spectrum of music is covered, from legendary soul artists such as James Brown to the iconic pop songwriting skills of James Blunt, from electro and disco (i.e. David Guetta, The Bee Gees) to modern and classic jazz (Katie Melua, Art Blakey, Al Jarreau...), from rock legends (The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Sting...) to teen icons (Justin Bieber, JLS, LMFAO) – the iConcerts catalogue has a broad range of artists to cater to viewers worldwide. The founders of iConcerts are Natalia Tsarkova & Etienne Mirlesse. Natalia Tsarkova is an internationally known expert on digital media architecture and broadband content programming. Before founding Transmedia, she worked with Intel, USA Networks, IMG, Sony Signatures, Apple Corps. Ltd and AOL. Throughout her professional experience in both traditional and new media industries, she has brought a consistent vision of intelligent content distribution to her work which aims to maximize the life of media assets and to deliver a more satisfying and inspired television experience to consumers. Natalia graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Harvard College, and holds a Master of Science degree from the MIT Media Lab. Etienne Mirlesse, whose career spans over 30 years in television and music production as well as digital imaging and broadcast technologies, has always worked on the cusp of new technology and traditional film/video industry. Producer of the first MGM/UA laser disk, pioneer of HDTV production in Europe (with over 150 hours of hi-definition music television programming including concerts by some of the top music artists) and a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Etienne had often witnessed the cultural gap between media and technology companies..
