The Room Key is a quest item from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. This key, with a distinct keychain, opens the door to one of the hotel rooms in the Stock Pot Inn. Link can only obtain the Room Key by first talking to Anju after 2:00 p.m. on the First Day, who then mistakenly gives him a reservation made in Link's name, as she expects the arrival of a guest in the afternoon. Consequently, Link the Goron will enter the inn at 3:45 p.m. to claim his reservation, only to be declined and left no choice but to sleep outside for the night. With the key in his possession, Link can enter the Knife Chamber – a room on the second floor, located between the Gorman Troupe's room and the staff room. Conveniently, the key also allows Link to enter through the inn's front door at any time. In the Nintendo 3DS remake, Link will have to assume his Goron form in order to "trick" Anju into giving him the key, as the reservation was made specifically for a Goron.
