In New York City, the exhibit appeared at the Museum of Television and Radio, displayed in the Spielberg Gallery from February 17 to March 11, 1999. The tour made its final visit to Sotheby's in March of 1999. At its close, CTW hosted a gala event benefiting three children's charities: The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Reading Is Fundamental, and The National Black Child Development Institute. During the exhibit's tour in New York City, Roscoe Orman and Elmo appeared on The Today Show to promote the gallery and feature some of the artwork.
