Major Perigord Habile Sinistra was a seasoned hare in the Long Patrol of Lady Cregga Rose Eyes. In his youth, he served under Colonel Cornspurrey De Fformelo Tussock; he was also smitten by Mem Divinia in his youth. In later years, he took in the Colonel's son, Tammo. He was the brother of Captain Twayblade; like her, he was a fearsome swordbeast, wielding a dueling sabre. | - Major Perigord Habile Sinistra was a seasoned hare in the Long Patrol of Lady Cregga Rose Eyes. He cared a lot for his best green tunic, which was ruined after a series of battles with Rapscallions. Perigord was assigned the duty of seeking out Damug Warfang, but ended up housing his patrol at Redwall Abbey due to the weakened south wall. He was the principal strategist during the Battle of the Ridge of a Thousand. Towards the battle's end, Perigord was captured and very nearly executed by Damug for shouting insults at the Firstblade, but the timely intervention of Cregga and her forces turned the tide against the Rapscallions, allowing Perigord and the other prisoners to survive the battle and win the day. Later he gave his monocle to Cregga, who in turn gave it to Abbess Songbreeze Swifteye. It was found by Fwirl in an ashtree that grew near the pond of the Abbey.
