Sexy Seedie was a character designed by Michael K. Frith at the same time as The Electric Mayhem. Although she was never built, elements of the face were later used in the design of Dr. Teeth, another character designed by Frith. Other far-out elements evolved into Janice, the Muppets' lead guitarist. She was to have been a singer with a knack for flipping her hair and playing the tambourine, described by Henson.com as "a cross between Grace Slick and Carole King with a little Carly Simon and Joan Baez thrown in for good measure." Her name is a reference to the Beatles song "Sexy Sadie."
