It was approved in 1958 as Stage 1 of the Foxbar project and construction was undertaken by Blackburn. It was completed in 1960 containing 56 flats. The 40m tall building was brick based. In December 2004, Marmion Court was demolished along with Heriot Court and Montrose Court by Safedem of Dundee.
