The organisation presents itself as a respectable business (seemingly Sega), but still required a powerful security presence to prevent their true nature being exposed to the world. Instead of training their valuable ninjas in these positions, the Neo Zeed used their considerable wealth to bring in licensed guards from agencies and other companies to protect their assets. The building was turned into a fortress, requiring a card key and PIN code to enter and guards regularly patrolled around the entrances to discourage any prospective intruders. To protect the interior, a complex security camera system was erected, allowing a central guard to observe almost every room in the headquarters and provide reinforcements to problem areas. In 1993, Naoko was kidnapped by the Neo Zeed and placed under the watchful eyes of the Four Elements. It was the security personnel's job to keep away Joe Musashi, Naoko's boyfriend, who was sure to come here and attempt a rescue. The young ninja did just this, silently gliding his way to the top of the building before abseiling down the skyscraper and entering a small office. Unfortunately for him, security had made it possible to identify any rogue entrants to the company's database, allowing the security guard to deploy an armed response and persue Musashi. The guard sent to intercept Musashi arrived in a manner of seconds, but was insufficently trained to deal with the skill ninja, his gun being destroyed before he could even pull the trigger. The man was quickly knocked unconscious and dragged into a nearby store cupboard. Upon discovering that it was in fact Musashi in the building, Neo Zeed ninjas were sent in to deal with the situation, removing the need for further security forces. It is unknown what has happened to the Neo Zeed security following the defeat of The Void at the hands of Musashi. The Four Elements defected and began working for the Yakuza, but it is likely that the Neo Zeed still exists in some form, therefore still requiring a security presence.
