| - Little do most people know, Mario once saved a princess other than Peach, her name was Daisy, princess of Sarasaland. In Super Mario Land for the original Gameboy she had been abducted by an alien menace & it was up to Mario rescue her. For years this would be the only game in her repertoire, however when Mario Tennis came out for the N64, Nintendo dug deep into their character banks to fill their roster & Daisy finally returned from the depths of obscurity. Ever since she has appeared in nearly every spinoff game in the series, from the Mario Party titles to the sports games.

Ever since she has appeared in nearly every spinoff game in the series, from the Mario Party titles to the sports games. Daisy is quite the tomboy. She is very competitive, outgoing, and is far less frail & feminine than her royal counterpart. In the games that feature teams (such as Double Dash or the Tennis games) she is often paired with Peach or Luigi. Many believe Luigi & Daisy to be an item, but this relationship is generally undefined. Only time will tell if Daisy ever shows up in a game in the main series or even one of the RPGs. One thing she does have over Peach is that she appeared in the Super Mario Brothers movie. Though on second thought, is that something really worth bragging about?
