- Asleif was the daughter of Hamal the Chieftain, the leader of the Mountain Tribe and fiancée to Ragnar. In life, she was a resourceful and loyal healer, who worked to help the wounds of her tribespeople. However, she also accompanied the Fremennik on a quest for the lost Prophecy Tablet, with Prince Vargas, Mawnis, Brundt and Baba Yaga of Lunar Isle. She vanished 14 years ago (Year 155 of the Fifth Age), an event which had a major impact on her people. Particularly affected were her father, who was reluctant to move despite dwindling resources, and Ragnar who continued to wait for her return. During Mountain Daughter, the player discovers that she was killed by the Kendal.

In life, she was a resourceful and loyal healer, who worked to help the wounds of her tribespeople. However, she also accompanied the Fremennik on a quest for the lost Prophecy Tablet, with Prince Vargas, Mawnis, Brundt and Baba Yaga of Lunar Isle. She vanished 14 years ago (Year 155 of the Fifth Age), an event which had a major impact on her people. Particularly affected were her father, who was reluctant to move despite dwindling resources, and Ragnar who continued to wait for her return. During Mountain Daughter, the player discovers that she was killed by the Kendal. After her death, she becomes the Mountain Dottir (mountain daughter), a protective spirit who continues to help her tribe by telling the player what needs to be done to keep them alive. She tells the player to: 1.
* Get the Mountain Camp to make peace with Rellekka. 2.
* Find a new source of food for the tribe. 3.
* Recover her corpse so the tribe may move on. During the quest, the player does find her corpse in a cave. During the quest Blood Runs Deep, the player meets her in the Fremennik spiritual realm, when they are killed by a falling rock.
