Yet very large and heavily muscled people are the exception. Eyes: black, brown, dark blues, sometimes a violet tinge, green, yellow, white, grey or red eyes are uncommon among the Shyraki. Hair: Black to medium brown General Appearance: The Shyraki are mostly of medium and lighter frame, their appearance more agile than one of the strength, a deceptive truth at best. With the greater diversity of skin tones and facial features, many people will be automatically believed to be from this or that province. Except in the capital, where only the tongue may betray a native. Lifespan: Regular for Menfolk, up to 100. Structure Population: ' Shyrakhan is a well populated land with some provinces densely settled, others a little less dense in their settling. The ethnic diversity reaches from light bronze skins in some places to very dark bronze in other and to Xia-type ethnic types in the Island Province. This is mainly due to intermarriage. Tribes: The Shyraki have no concepts of tribes, in fact every concept that puts people apart in such a manner is slightly suspect to them, as they understand themselves as all part of one perfect creation. Hierarchy: Hierarchy is an important thing in the Empire, though their ranks are less firmly set than in other societies. While there is a caste of nobility it is small and carries little political weight, a noble title may be a good thing to further one’s career, but it is not a guarantee for success. A few noble houses have removed themselves entirely from the Imperial Court and focus on expanding their trade Empires, while other Houses have a long tradition of service be it in the military or the bureaucracy, without ever having been noble. A commoner appointed to a rank, be it judge, governor or overseer, stands above a nobleman of his district, judging or governing him just as he does all the others.
