The Shirna were a humanoid species who were the mortal enemies of the Vorgons. Physically, they had a wide domed head, pronounced brow ridges, a triangular muzzle, bat-like nostrils, narrow pointed ears, and scaly, wrinkled skin. Kal Dano, the inventor of the Tox Uthat, was a Shirna. Ajur and Boratus, both Vorgons, claimed Dano invented the Uthat to destroy the Vorgons' home system. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
