But after Tom's old rival rubs his nose in costing him the championship game when they were in high school, Tom panics when his star pitcher, Oliver Wilkerson, is mauled by the mascot. Dejected, Tom is ready to throw in the towel until Harold proves and members of the baseball team mistake him as a teen due to his size. Tom decides to pass Harold off as a transfer student named Harvie Reginald. The team continues its winning streak through to the championship but the gang find they have to hide Harold's role from Lenny who wants his boy Scooter to play. After several attempts by Sandals to knock him out with a shovel, Abagail runs over him with her scooter and Sandals dumps Lenny in the woods. Harold decides to give up baseball and join the musical theater group but Tom drags him back for the game. While Tom is helping Harold change into his uniform, Tyler sees him and finds out about his dad's cheating. When Lenny awakes, he hurries back to the game. Tom almost believe the game is up when Principal Carl pulls Jimmy off the field for failing to turn his wood shop project. Meanwhile, Tyler finds he is in danger of failing wood shop and is afraid of disappointing Tom. After seeing that his father has turned to cheating, Tom decides to replace his on Jimmy Lesac's resulting in an A grade. Tom finds out that he is the cause of Tyler's misdeeds and pulls Harold from the game, replacing him with Scooter who is tired he eventually throws a pitch that is knocked out of the park, costing the Growler's the game. After Tom shows him that cheating isn't the answer he comes clean and gets an F but Shubie uses her position as school secretary to chang his grade to a "B".
