He severed as an ODST throughout the early years of the Human-Covenant War, but after a major leg injury that left him unfit for infantry duty, he transferred to the UNSC Navy as a commissioned officer.

He severed as an ODST throughout the early years of the Human-Covenant War, but after a major leg injury that left him unfit for infantry duty, he transferred to the UNSC Navy as a commissioned officer. He eventually rose to the rank of Captain, and was made Commanding Officer of the UNSC London. He captained the ship throughout several battles, and was promoted to the rank of Commodore. During the Fall of Reach, he rammed the UNSC London into the Covenant ship The Truthful Saviour, and was killed.
