Alivia can manipulate sleep in a variety of ways. She can induce various states of sleep, from drowsiness to nearly comatose, and can also induce sleep in those who would not rest naturally, such as type one vampires. She can also manipulate dreams similarly to dream manipulation, and communicate with others in their sleep, no matter what the distance between the people. She can view the dreams of others, and see precognitive dreams. Occasionally she can also give herself her own precognitive dreams, without the need to see another person's visions, but she finds doing so draining, and can only maintain it for a little while. Currently, she does this unknowingly. The ability can also be used to induce fatigue or wakefulness, and to trap others in dreams.

- Hypnokinesis is a magical form of transportation that was used originally by Homnibus on Sir Johan and Peewit during their search for the magic flute in the comic book story "The Smurfs And The Magic Flute" and its animated adaptation. Similar to the concept of astral projection, what this method requires is that the traveler must be put to sleep, and then the soul of the sleeper is then transported to the location that the spellcaster directs them to, given physical form when he or she arrives. Unfortunately, Homnibus did this just as the Smurfs had completed creating the second magic flute and they were about to get their hands on it. Even worse, Homnibus became so tired that he passed out when he attempted to send Peewit back to the Smurfs by using the same spell.
