| - Hot Wings is a phoenix-like boss appearing in the game Kirby's Epic Yarn. She is the second boss of the game and also the boss of Hot Land.
- The name refers to Buffalo chicken wing cuisine of the United States, a chicken wing section that is deep-fried, unbreaded, and coated in vinegar-based cayenne pepper hot sauce and butter. In the Japanese version, the enemy is called "Phoenix".
- Hot Wings is an exclusive and secret burlesque strip club on the HBO original series True Blood. Also serving as a safe house for faeries and halflings seeking refuge from vampires, the club is apparently located in the middle of a field, somewhere in Louisiana. Completely invisible to humans from the outside, Hot Wings is owned and operated by Claude Crane, a powerful fae, and the only brother to 17 faerie sisters. __TOC__
- A massive flying creature made of energy, commonly a predatory bird made of fire, is a common visual metaphor for Limit Breaks, fast transportation and other special abilities. Or just making you look that much more Badass. Dragons, moths and other winged creature shapes may also be used, up to Winged Humanoid. The origin of this trope seems to come from The Phoenix. In symbolism as applied to the wings this, just like other fire-based powers, usually given to Hot-Blooded and/or very powerful beings, whether "demonic" (Balrog), "angelic" (Archangel Gabriel) or otherwise.
- Hot Wings is a huge bird made out of yarn with orange and yellow, fiery wings, a bue crest and tail, and a red body. A single contact with Hot Wings inflicts damages to Kirby and Prince Fluff. Her weak point is a red button on her chest. Hot Wings is most likely based on the Phoenix.
