The Rt. Hon Sir Edwin Andrew Cornwall (30 June 1863 – 27 February 1953) was a coal merchant and politician. He was a Progressive Party member of the London County Council from 1892, representing Fulham until 1907. He was Chairman of the County Council for 1905-06, having previously served as vice-chairman in 1903-05. He was chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of the council and led efforts to clear slums between Holborn and Strand – which led to the development of Aldwych and Kingsway. He was a member of the Fulham Vestry and when the parish was created a borough in 1900 he was the first Mayor of Fulham in 1900-01. In 1906 he was elected as Liberal Party Member of Parliament for Bethnal Green North East. He held the seat until 1922 latterly as a National Liberal. Member of the Port of London Authority.
