| - The Pinion(ピニオンPinion) are Rinne created by "One-Indulged-in-Love-for-Others" Tiriel to embed humans with Unrestricted Spells.
- There are three special items called pinions in the game. They are all dropped from the Disco Duck boss.
* Pinion of Fire
* Pinion of Pain
* Pinion of Shadow
- Pinions are a series of mass produced robots developed by the Terrans. Created by a now defunct company from the Fringe Worlds, they were made to handle multiple different tasks at extremely low cost. Each of them could be customized to perform tasks ranging from repairing vehicles to constructing an entire space platforms. Like the Zerg, Pinions work by swarming the problem and using teamwork to effectively neutralize the problem. In combat zones, their large numbers and low cost would make them ideal for handling situations where losing a SCV or MULE would be a massive tactical loss.

In practice, the Pinions caused more harm than good. Due to cutting costs in programming, the A.I.s of the robotic drones became erratic for completely random reasons. Instead of repairing, they would rewire critical systems such as the self-destruct systems with the toilets. At other times, Pinions would break into random dances and play music while surrounded by fire they caused. The company did try several attempts to fix theses flaws including a self-repair system. Though successful in rendering the drones practically indestructible, it still did not solve the programming errors. A more successful attempt was the addition of special paint that changed from yellow to purple whenever the A.I.s get out of control (Transformers - Animated: Electronic paint job). This was useful as long as the owners could get away in time to avoid getting caught in random craziness. Another Upgrade to stabilize sales was the ability to transform into a handheld fire extinguisher to spray Thermal retardant on building fires. Unfortunately, rampant Pinions could use their new transformation to expel random substances and fumes such as crude Vespene gas at the user. All of this ultimately made the company bankrupt and all assets were bought out by Egorr Enterprises. What the new owners intend to do with the robots is unknown; however, some of the "lost" Pinions pop up in unexpected places. Special abilities:
* Servo/Extinguisher Mode - transforms into a robotic drone or hand held fire extinguisher. Has 15% chance to expel random substances within sight range. Has 3% chance of expelling noxious gas that can stun a Colossus
* Auto-Boot (passive) - unit resurrects itself after being destroyed at a cost of being more random. Renders Pinion immune to mind control-like effects
