Jodie Rimmer (born May 22, 1974) is an award-winning New Zealand actress who portrayed Lilith on Young Hercules. She would also play Lilith's daughter, Seska, on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Dahak acolyte Seraphin on Xena: Warrior Princess. Outside of the Xenaverse, Rimmer gained fame for her supporting role in the critically-acclaimed 2005 film In My Father's Den, for which she won a New Zealand Screen Award. A child actress, Rimmer's first major role was in the 1990 television movie The Rogue Stallion, where she played Ginny Garrett, the sister to Dean O'Gorman's character Tony Garrett. Her first series was the soap opera Shortland Street, and she later served as the host for Behind the Wheel. Her first television movie role, and her only lead film role, was in the 1999 film I'll Make You Happy, portraying Siggy, a teenage prostitute. Alongside Mfundo Morrison and Victoria Pratt, Rimmer had a major role in Aaron Spelling television pilot for Forbidden Island. Since then she has appeared in several films, as well as a major role in the 2002 comedy series The Strip, as Kath, the best friend to the main character Melissa (played by Luanne Gordon). In 2004 she appeared in the critically-acclaimed television film Not Only But Always alongside famed actor Rhys Ifans. Her most recent films have included Playing For Charlies and Seperation City. Rimmer is married to entertainment lawyer Tim Riley, and her first child was due in March 2010. Back in the mid-1990s, she briefly dated actor Joel Tobeck.
