Unlike the LAAT's, the AIAT/i is a gunship with interstellar range, able to travel from planet to planet. It was meant to replace the aging Meteor-class Q-Carrier. Cadden Blackthorne, as Mandalore, managed to get his hands on several of these craft and, with some retrofitting, turn them into formidable Mandalorian war craft.
