Synopsis
  • When a Martian rocket carrying three mandrills from that world to a zoo on one of Mars’s moons goes off-course and crash-lands on Earth, a gang of crooks discovers it, finds a device used to mentally control the mandrills, and uses it to make the super-powered beasts pull spectacular thefts. J’onn J’onzz discovers that the animals’ powers are greater than his own, but has policemen light up cigarettes in the presence of the mandrills, weakening them through fire. Then he captures the crooks, and has the mandrills sent back into space in the rocket. Captain Harding asks if J’onzz would have liked to return to Mars with the mandrills. The Martian replies that he may return to his homeworld someday, after his work on Earth is done.
  • A living caveman is thawed out of ice and goes on the rampage. When the professor who found him is discovered dead, the caveman is suspected of the crime, but Batman, Robin, and Batwoman prove otherwise.
