Grande gained national attention for her role as Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious and its spin-off Sam & Cat, which is also a spinoff of iCarly. While working for Nickelodeon she appeared on Nick game shows BrainSurge & Figure it Out. This year she made her outside Nickelodeon debut at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards (she introduced Justin Bieber that night). Ariana's first solo album is called Yours Truly.
