abstract	Consky O'Nang was a legendary soldier, citizen, and supporter of the Confederacy of Independent Systems before, during and after the Clone Wars. As a child, she lived as a Republic citizen, but after her parents' murder at the hands of a bounty hunter serving a corrupt Republic senator, the corruption of the Republic Senate became more and more apparent to her, and she started to gain resentments of the ways of the Jedi Order and the Force. O'Nang fought valiantly in the Clone Wars, serving alongside battle droids of every variety in the Separatist Droid Army, as well as with a wide variety of alien and human soldiers and militias, and also often served the Confederate Navy in many battleships, destroyers and frigates, and starfighters, also. She was a firm believer in the Separatist cause and an admirer of Count Dooku, and she worked with many of the Confederacy's greatest champions and heroes. O'Nang survived the Clone Wars, and after the rise of the Empire, she flew from Separatist holdout to Separatist holdout in a vain attempt to help revive the Confederacy. When the Rebel Alliance was founded, she refused to join it, her reasons being that the Rebellion had drastically different goals than the lost Separatist cause, and because Jedi like Master Rahm Kota and Luke Skywalker were among its heroes and leaders. After the Galactic Civil War, she went into seclusion on Mirial, a former property of the Confederacy, and later the Empire. She watched with growing dismay as the New Republic and its successor, the Galactic Alliance took control of the galaxy. After living through the Yuuzhan Vong War and the Killik War, she wrote and published an essay titled CIS Reconsidered: A Patriot's Defense in a desperate attempt to garner some sympathy for the dead Confederacy, and after gaining a small following of interested parties, she died four years before the corruption of Jacen Solo to the dark side by Lumiya and his takeover of the Galactic Alliance.
