Cuba M. Gooding, Jr. is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Trey "Tre" Styles in John Singleton's 1991 film Boyz n the Hood and in the Academy Award-winning role as Rod Tidwell in Cameron Crowe's Jerry Maguire. For Disney, he portrayed Ted Brooks in the 2002 live-action comedy film Snow Dogs, and voiced Buck in the 2004 animated film Home on the Range. He also played Dorie Miller in the 2001 Touchstone Pictures film Pearl Harbor.
