| - by user Layla Crossposted from The HILL Chronicles Anna Nicole Smith has died at the age of 39 today in Florida. She was found unconscious in her hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood. She recently gave birth to a baby girl and went into seclusion after her son Daniel died last year in her hospital room in the Bahamas shortly after she gave birth to a daughter. Howard K. Stern was in the room at the time of Smith’s son Daniel’s death and ironically he was in Nicole’s room when she collapsed. There is speculation that her death was caused by a drug overdose – it was reported that Smith had a high fever last night, but no one will know for sure what the cause of death is until the autopsy is performed tomorrow. There is also speculation that she may have died at the hands of Stern. If I were Stern I would get a lawyer. I have never been a fan of Anna Nicole Smith. She may have been a smart woman as so many report, but she was classless. Unfortunately she chose to take her career down the road with Play Boy shoots, drugs, and the exploitation of her weight ups and downs. Sadly she was obviously an emotionally unstable person that was taken advantage of by Hollywood and opportunists. Sadly from the reports I hear no one really has anything nice to say about her. What a sad legacy to leave behind. Her death is being compared to the death of Marilyn Monroe, but added that she did not have Monroe’s talent. She was a manufactured celebrity. She only existed on camera. She was only an icon when "enough" people came to see her. As a celebrity there is not much to be desired in the wake of Smith’s untimely death. But we should mourn the death of human being that despite the gossip surrounding her did have emotions, feelings, and in some ways may have been no different from any one of us. Another sad note is the daughter she has left behind. There is much concern for this child since there will obviously be much litigation surrounding her paternity and who she will be raised by. What a tragedy - not just because Smith died at such a young age - but because had she been more responsible with her life choices she may not have died - ad least not today. __NOEDITSECTION__ From The Opinion Wiki, a Wikia wiki.
