| - "Starting Out" is the second episode of series 26 and the 783rd episode of Casualty overall. The episode sees the arrival of nurses Lloyd Asike and Scarlett Conway.
- After you've installed the Yohoho! client and chosen an ocean to play on, you need to create a pirate before you begin playing. Click on one of the three buttons labeled "Create new Pirate" and start crating your character. You can choose you pirate's gender, hair color, skin tone, and facial hair for the men. Currently, none of these features can be altered after you've started playing. Image:Creation.png
- After installing Mafia Wars for the 1st time, you are shown a screen whereby you type in your player name and choose between 3 classes: Mogul, Maniac and Fearless. See the Character Selection Strategy before installing the Game . Also make note: You cannot change your name after this point without paying Reward Points, so choose wisely! After selecting the class, you are redirected to the Jobs tab. The only other tab available is Inventory. Do the only job available: Mugging. Upon reaching level 4, Properties tab is unlocked. Buy the equipments needed under the Inventory tab.
- Journalism is one field with a Catch-22: You can't get a job without experience, and it seems like you can't get experience without a job. Hiring editors want to see published clips. The key is to start small. One of the best places to start is at a school or college newspaper. Other options are freelancing and internships. People considering entering the field should be aware that, as of 2007, this is a tumultuous time in the industry. For example, besides the continuing decline in newspaper circulation, ad revenue has also been decreasing, and digital technology is bringing various changes.

- Below are a few directions one is recommended to follow in hopes of enjoying a fulfilling BiteFight experience. The first decision any new player has to make is whether becoming a Vampire or a Werewolf. This decision does not affect the player in any way, and can later be undone if one chooses so (although this option requires an online transaction). As such, it is highly recommended one reflects thoroughly on the matter, as most players aren't willing to spend genuine money on a game. 2: Go into the city and go to the tavern. Do 2 quests.
- Getting Started in Avernum: Note: This is straight from the SpiderWeb Software Again. So you have a nice new party and it's getting stomped. Again and again. It's humiliating. You can't find anything good to fight. The monsters are slaughtering you. You can't get money. What can you do? Well, here's some good strategy advice, culled from the horrible sufferings of scads of testers ... 1. Be sure to talk to Tor in Fort Avernum. He gives you starting money. 2. At early levels, magic will keep you alive. Use bless and haste spells, and get a character who can cast Ice Lances as soon as possible.

At early levels, magic will keep you alive. Use bless and haste spells, and get a character who can cast Ice Lances as soon as possible. 3. There are a few simple early quests which can give you useful experience. Talk to Warrick in Fort Avernum. Find her friend for her (hint: look in Silvar). Claudette in Formello, Gary in Silvar, and Ether in Mertis all have missions which can be partly or wholly done in the demo. 4. Don't go west right away. Avoid Cotra. The sliths out there are dangerous. 5. Talk to Johnson in Fort Duvno. He gives you two very useful missions in nearby dungeons. 6. To get experience early on, go to the Goblin Caves, the Brigand Fort, and the Bat Cave. They're all between Fort Duvno and Formello, and all of them are custom-built for low level characters. Don't take on too much at once. Go in, kill a few foes, and leave to rest. Things you killed will still be dead when you return. 7. When you've gained a few levels, talk to Mayor Evelyn in Formello. She gives you the biggest quest in the demo and can give you a reward which is very useful later in the game. 8. There is a magic ring hidden in a secret cave in the southeast corner of the Goblin Caves. It's a nice little item, which can be sold if necessary.

As such, it is highly recommended one reflects thoroughly on the matter, as most players aren't willing to spend genuine money on a game. Once this is done, the player now has access to the BiteFight interface, where the rest of the game takes place. Below are another player's suggested path to follow once this step has been reached: 1: First scroll down and click on 'Training'. Then train you Strength to level 7 and all of your other skills to 6. 2: Go into the city and go to the tavern. Do 2 quests. 3: Go into hunt and click go (First section, NOT manhunt) and attack someone. 4: Go to your hideout and get level 2 Domicile and level 1 Way, Environment and Wall Then after you log out, do an 8 hour shift at the graveyard. Do this every time you log out for more than 8 hours (E.G. After you go bed). When you have enough money, buy some equipment (Armour, weapon and helmet).

The key is to start small. One of the best places to start is at a school or college newspaper. Other options are freelancing and internships. If you have zero journalism background, you should probably take at least a class or do some independent reading about journalism. Besides learning more about how to research and write (or journalism skills other than reporting, such as copy editing or multimedia), it will help to learn about ethics and other standards. People considering entering the field should be aware that, as of 2007, this is a tumultuous time in the industry.
